To be considered part of the wedding group, you must book through Tropical Travel and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). We have competitive group rates and perks to make this as easy as possible for everyone.
Additional fees will apply to visit the resort or come to wedding related events should you book off property. The discounted group rates include transportation to/from the resort, hotel accommodations, all-inclusive amenities, hotel tax and fees, housekeeping and bellman gratuities. Room categories are available on a first come, first serve basis. We can assist with airfare if needed.
Travel Dates:
You can travel any dates + number of nights you’d like. You will receive a customized quote based on your desired length of stay and departure/arrival dates.
IMPORTANT:
• The resort requires a minimum stay of 3 nights
• Any changes must be done in writing and changes requested after the balance due date must be paid for in full upfront even before they are confirmed
• Last minute bookings or changes within 21 days of travel will incur a $150 fee
PAYMENTS:
• A nonrefundable $100.00 per person deposit is due at the time of booking to secure your room
• If booking airfare as well, deposits are usually $250.00 per person in total to confirm air/hotel package
• Payments accepted via Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and Visa. Only one credit card per booking
• Monthly payment plans required. Once your deposit is paid, the remaining balance will be divided up into equal monthly payments that will draft automatically each month.
WILL I NEED A PASSPORT?
Yes! A valid passport book (not card) is needed to fly to and from the U.S. and Mexico. - please take the time now to locate your passport and check the expiration date; make sure it is valid for 6 months after your anticipated return date. If you need to apply or renew, please do so ASAP as their turnaround time has been extremely delayed. TRAVEL INSURANCE
We will offer travel protection during the booking process. Rates will vary per person depending on your age, state, total value of your trip, and if you elect for the Cancel for Any Reason benefit. The average cost of your travel protection is about 6-10% of the total trip cost so it's a great investment!
FLIGHTS
Closest airport to the resort is San Jose del Cabo (SJD).
We recommend booking your flights as early as you can. Consider using miles or credit card points if you have them.
If you would like to book your flight + hotel as a package this can be arranged as well. In the reservation form mark "YES" to the flight question and you will be contacted to verify airline preferences for published rates. There is no guarantee that we have better flight prices than what you may find on your own and we cannot guarantee we are contracted with every airline. There may be instances when we cannot book your air if we do not have a contract with a specific airline, such as Spirit Airlines. We are not able to use credit card points or miles towards your flight.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Transportation to and from the resort is included in your package. Once you book your flights, please send a copy of your itinerary to tina@tropicaltravel.us using FLIGHTS in the subject line.
COVID
Mexico does not have any entry requirements. Proof of vaccination / negative tests are not needed.
